Spring 2010 Speakers Series

Emily Carr University in Vancouver is proud to present highlights of its Spring 2010 Speaker Series. Each semester, Emily Carr's various lecture series bring to campus the unique and diverse perspectives of world-renowned artists, architects, designers, curators, scholars, and writers. Each speaker presents their work and invites the audience to participate in a critical discussion. The primary mission of the Speaker Series Program is to foster cross-disciplinary discussions around topical issues in contemporary art, design, and media.

    Edgar Heap of Birds is known internationally for his interventions in public spaces that bear witness to the invisible histories that are indelibly linked to a place, particularly histories concerning indigenous peoples. Free and open to the public. Co-presentation with Malaspina Printmakers.
