Emergent showcases the work of an emerging generation of Surrey artists who combine painting and sculpture in refreshing new ways. The work spans a variety of influences, including early computer graphics, socio-political history, southeast Asian folks arts and economic visualization techniques.

The exhibit at the Surrey Art Gallery features the work of Patrick Cruz ('10), A.S. Dhillon ('01) and Debbie Tuepah ('11).

Emergent runs from June 23 to August 18, 2012. An opening reception will be held from 2 to 4pm on June 23.
