Sustainable Campus - Carbon Neutral Challenge
Emily Carr will be carbon neutral by 2010.
British Columbia's Climate Action Plan, and its related legislation, requires all public sector organisations to report annually on carbon reduction strategies, starting in June 2009.
Starting in January 2010, we will track carbon emissions in four areas: fuel, electricity, paper consumption, and fugitive emissions. Starting in January 2011, we will buy offsets from Pacific Carbon Trust for greenhouse gas emissions.
