Advising services for prospective students
Emily Carr's recruitment and advising team are here to assist you with your transition to university life. We provide individual and group advising for students throughout the admission process. How to Apply
STEP 1: Prospective Undergraduate students review your academic eligibility. Prospective Graduate (MAA) students click here.
STEP 2: apply online (application opens September 15 and closes January 15)
STEP 3: submit your high school and/or university/college transcripts (all transcripts are due January 15)
STEP 4: prepare your visual art portfolio
STEP 5: submit your visual art portfolio online through SlideRoom (due February 1)
Thank you for your application, the University will contact you with a decision via regular mail posted no later than March 31.

Emily Carr participates in a number of recruitment activities including visits and presentations to BC secondary schools, post-secondary institutions and career fairs. Tours
Tour Schedule:

All tours will begin at 12:00 noon and end at 1 p.m. Participants are asked to arrive 10 - 15 minutes early and meet in the Concourse foyer next to the reception desk in our North building. To book yourself on to a tour please send your request and the date you wish to attend to: admissions@ecuad.ca . Please note that due to operational limitations the University cannot accommodate groups exceeding 12 people. It is also recommended that tour participants be 16 years of age or older.
National Portfolio Day for Undergraduate Prospects
National Portfolio Days are recruitment events that help promote the artistic development of young artists by bringing together experienced representatives who review art work and offer critical feedback. Emily Carr will be hosting a National Portfolio Day event on Saturday, December 7 2013 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
