Entrance Scholarships
Recognizing Academic Achievement and Artistic Potential
Emily Carr University wishes to attract the best-qualified applicants and to recognize, with entrance scholarships, those presenting high academic achievement and artistic potential. A limited number of entrance scholarships are offered to students who are beginning their studies at the University.
EMILY CARR UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS
- Seven entrance scholarships, each in the amount of full tuition for study in the Foundation year awarded to BC high school students planning on attending ECU directly after graduation.
- Seven International entrance scholarships, ranging from $2000 to $5000 Canadian dollars for study at any level.
AUDIAN FOUNDATION ANNUAL ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS
The two Audain Foundation Annual Entrance Scholarships, valued at $3500 and $1500 are tuition scholarships awarded to BC students from outside the Greater Vancouver Regional District. These awards are open to BC students beginning studies in first, second or third year.
SOUTH SURREY AND WHITE ROCK ART SOCIETY ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The 'Fund' will provide one $1000 entrance scholarship to a BC student who is entering the Foundation year from one of five designated schools; Elgin Secondary, Semiahmoo Secondary, Earl Marriott Secondary, White Rock Christian Academy or Southridge.
Applications for entrance scholarships are not required; the University will select students based on their academic and artistic merit and notify each recipient accordingly.
