Program Highlights
Emily Carr University of Art + Design, in collaboration with North Island College, delivers the third and fourth years of a Bachelor of Fine Art degree at North Island College's Comox Valley Campus. This two-year, full-time program involves 15 credits per semester. Studio courses include Painting, Drawing, Ceramics, Printmaking, Photography and Digital Visual Arts, as well as academic courses in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Art History at the senior level.
Admission Requirements
The minimum academic requirement for admission to the External BFA program is the succesful completion of the North Island College two-year Visual Art diploma. Prospective applicants can apply to both NIC and Emily Carr through the dual admission application process.
