All students develop a master’s thesis project with supervision of a faculty mentor, and participate in research seminars, studio classes, public exhibitions and presentations, and series of lectures and studio visits from renowned creative professionals.
Teaching faculty offer expertise and guidance in situating your research within specific fields of theoretical and material inquiry through immersed making, analysis, iteration and critique. The dynamic educational experience we offer includes connections to local and global artists, designers, curators and scholars.
With a rigorous and innovative approach to design and art production, students’ interests are supported be it a single field of specialization, or an interdisciplinary practice. Our students come from a wide range of different professional backgrounds and lived experiences. Our learning community is diverse.
