Exhibition Space
The Library has several exhibition spaces available to students and faculty. Our street level 'Library Window Gallery' faces North onto Johnston Street and is a perfect place to curate a show. There is also a traditional glass display case in the lobby of the library. This is an excellent place to exhibit print media or small sculpture. The library also displays more permenant, large scale work by faculty at ECUAD. Currently on display is a large scale painting by Landon Mackenzie. The primary purpose of these exhibition venues is to provide space for students to exhibit their work. Faculty, staff and other university departments and events can also apply to use this space. We have various sized plinths that you can use to create your display.
The Library is also currently working with a student curatorial team and will be offering our mezzanine reading room as student exhibition space in the near future.
Exhibition space can be booked for up to 2 weeks. Please get in touch with Larissa Beringer, lberinger@ecuad.ca to schedule a date.
