Here is a list of new books and DVDs with their call numbers. Click on each title to see if it's available. You can place a hold on items that are checked out and you will be receive an email when they are available for pickup.

In the Library, our new books are displayed by the current issues of magazines and journals.

And without further ado, we now have Blu-ray! There is now a Blu-ray player set up on one of the library video viewing stations. Blu-ray discs look like DVDs but have the capacity to hold HD video. To get all the rich detail of HD the discs need to be played on a Blu-ray player or PlayStation 3 game console hooked up to an HDTV. DVDs can be played in a Blu-ray player but Blu-ray discs will only play in a Blu-ray player.

Wish you could stop by UBC to pick up that book you really need for your research? You can as a reciprocal borrower! In fact you can stop by any BC post-secondary library (public institutions) in person and check out books through the provincial reciprocal borrowing agreement for free. Some limits apply. Borrowing privileges are usually for a limited number of books only, media items are not included. 

The library window currently features a looped video of Emma Lehto's work and hanging folded books advertising Continuing Studies' Book Arts Institute. The Institute includes courses on Letterpress, 3D Pop-Up Books, the Altered Book, and Image Transfers. In July, Continuing Studies will be offering engaging public programming to complement these courses.
