VOLUNTEER POSITIONS FOR
THE SHOW 2013
Thank you to everyone who applied to be a Docent or Greeter for tours at The Show. These positions are filled, but you can still volunteer for the following:
Thursday: Grad Help Desk (see below), 8:30am to 11:30am
Thursday: Swag Bag Stuffers, 2 hour shift between 9am to 4pm
Friday: Preview Night Greeters, 5:30 to 8pm and 6:30 to 8pm

2013 Winner Named
Chad Durnford ('10) was selected by a jury to receive this year's IDEA Art Award and a $5,000 cash award. Congratulations also to Aaron Miller who received honourable mention for his carving, "Ebb."
Chad's dynamic, colourful painting, "Above and Beyond," will be mounted at G.F. Strong later this summer.

Emily Carr Alumni Gallery at Queen Elizabeth Theatre
Would you like your fabulous art to be seen by thousands? This unique display venue is provided by the Emily Carr University of Art + Design Alumni Association, in collaboration with the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.
We invite Emily Carr/VSA graduates to submit art proposals for consideration for an upcoming solo or group exhibition. Submissions are received on an ongoing basis by the Exhibition Committee and reviewed regularly. The program is open to all Emily Carr Full Circle members in good standing. Benefits for the artist include - a listing in Preview Magazine and on the Emily Carr website. The Gallery Committee curates and installs each show to profile the artist's work and the artist to the broad range of audiences who visit the Gallery Space (see floor plan) and the theatre. All images must be family-friendly in consideration with this special public space venue (no nudity, political or violence allowed).
