    This body of work encompasses a ten month photographic study of spaces that are in a state of transition, abandonment, or rebirth.  This work also coincides with the passing of my mother. In this way these images serve as a visual representation of this experience with parts one, two, and three expressing my states of being before, during, and after this trauma.

    The traumatic experience of losing my mother has reshaped my physical and metaphysical approaches to the world, as well...

    In May 2007 I travelled to Tahiti as part of an island hoping trip towards South America. Once I arrived in Papeete I discovered how expensive local accommodation was so I decided to try and spend the night camping out in a park. After spending a sleepless night being shifted on by security guards and trying to avoid night creepers (Johns), I boarded the first morning ferry for the neighbouring island of Moorea. This is the sunset I was greeted with every day.
