Eva is a long-time Emily Carr employee who has worked in the areas of finance, development, communications and alumni relations. In her current position as Annual Fund + Alumni Relations Officer, her past experience in all of these areas are put into play on a daily basis, as the position is varied and requires a broad range of knowledge.
In the area of fundraising, Eva's focus is on implementing and evaluating the Annual Fund (direct mail, telephone, email and face-to-face appeals), donor relations, donor communications, and accountability. With alumni, her focus is on alumni communications (escene blog, Facebook, Twitter, email blasts, correspondence); liaising with and advising the Alumni Association; and building and maintaining ties between individual alumni and the University community.
A life-long learner with eclectic interests, she has certificates and diplomas in areas such as graphic design, communications, fundraising, make up artistry, various software applications, web design and accounting.
