Beth Howe was born in Seattle. She completed a BA in Printmaking at Haverford College in Philadelphia and an interdisciplinary MFA at San Francisco Art Institute. Recent shows include 'At Variance' at Truck Contemporary Art in Calgary; 'Obsolete Concepts' traveling from A Space in Toronto to Gallery Lambton, Sarnia ON and McLaughlin Gallery, Oshawa; and 'Beth Howe: Environs' at Mercer Union in Toronto. Her artist books and multiples are included in the collections of University of California at Berkeley, the Collection of the City of Toronto, Neutral Capital Collection New York, Mandeville Special Collections Library of the University of San Diego and the Auchenbach Foundation for the Graphic Arts at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, CA. Her practice includes book media, drawing, print, and sculpture.
