Photographer and social practice artist and educator Susan Stewart, has produced work in both solo and collaborative productions. Stewart's work is concerned with the relational, ecological, and political aspects of the social body. Change Without Notice, immersive video projections considered notions of social sustainability within the context of environmental crisis. Other works include A Space Without Fences Like You on the Prairie , and the documentaries Policy Baby and scene unseen . Stewart was a member of the queer art collective, Kiss & Tell, whose award-winning and provocative productions were exhibited, published and performed locally and internationally for over a decade.
Susan is involved in the co-operative housing movement, and is an urban gardener. She is also a longtime student of Buddhist philosophy and practice.
Susan was the founding Dean of the Faculty of Culture & Community.
