Rozita Moini-Shirazi is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work includes drawing, painting, photography, installation and illustration. Her work has been widely exhibited throughout Canada and beyond. Moini's current art focuses on the fusion of different cultures by illustrating the similarities found in all art. Moini has been working as the art director of different publishing companies and taught at post-secondary levels for many years. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Visual arts and has received her master's in illustration. She is a Doctoral candidate at the University of Victoria in the faculty of Art Education. Rozita’s current research interest is the importance of self-identity in shaping the work of the emerging artists and how education can assist them to portray their true being along the way in order to generate original artwork.
