Jordan Dowler-Coltman also known as “Dordo”, Was born in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. Jordan graduated from Victoria School of the Arts in 2008 and is currently in his forth year of studies in the Film, Video and Integrated Media Dept. at Emily Carr University in Vancouver. As a co-founder of Skyward Motion Pictures Jordan has continued to grow artistically and has collaborated on several major projects with several other Edmonton and Vancouver based artists. He has co-directed two feature films with David Kelso (SFU Film Student) Algorithms (2010) & Silhouette (2011) and created a live multi-media dance work: Static Motion (2011) with Toronto based dancer/choreographer Melissa Watt, and Edmonton based sound designer Nicholas Mayne. Jordan’s work explores the ideas of perspective, human instinct and emotion, and the relationships people have to technology.
