    For my fall semester senior project, I chose to create a way of organizing and sharing family histories that is non-traditional, inventive and user-friendly. I used my own family's history for the project, but another family could easily be swapped in.

    Poster design for the Alcuin Awards for Excellence in Book Design in Canada. All typography on the poster was hand-drawn and digitally rendered by me for this project, and became a real test to my own skills as a letterer to learn where my strengths and weaknesses were.

    This monograph contains the story of Samson's life, as told in the Book of Judges. The story is quite violent and unsettling, so the design is meant to reflect those feelings. Because the source of Samson's power is his hair, I chose to use human hair in various graphic treatments, from creating letters forming the title spreads and drop caps, to subtle ornaments, to abstract illustrations.
