They are on course to become the first ecosystem that human-activity will eliminate entirely. This event is set to take occur before the end of the current century.

    Müy is a unique umbrella holder produced in co-operation with Allison Chow and Hamza Omari. Designed for the modern Vancouverite: Müy ts a product of local designers celebraring the local climate using local materials.

    Müy was sold in a local furniture boutique 18KARAT.

    In a collaboration with 18 Karat, the objective for this group project was to produce an innovative folding chair that matches their brand identity. 18KARAT is a design, import and retail company specializing in contemporary interior design accessories and furniture based in Vancouver, Canada.

    The focus of this class project was reducing the consumption of disposable paper cups in coffee shops, by promoting the use of reusable containers such as mugs and tumblers. Through extensive user research and testing, we established that the most effective tactics for behaviour change involve providing benefits to eco-conscious coffee consumers, instead of shaming those who flaunt paper cups.

    Oz was a collaboration with Mimi Law to design an interactive learning object for children around the age of 6 to 10 years. Based on a simple marble maze concept, Oz can accommodate up to three players. With exchangeable inserts and movable parts, it encourages collaboration, open-ended play and helps develop cognitive and motor skills especially in children.

    Plug.e is a smart power metering device designed to help users monitor their power consumption. Plug.e puts a human face on otherwise lifeless data, making it easier to understand. User–device interaction is based on smiley faces; evoking emotional reactions within users to bring about positive behaviour change.
