My name is Joshua Jack, and I'm an aboriginal student of ECU in my foundations first year. I come from a small town called lillooet and I am from the reserve called Xwisten ( Bridge River) of the St'at'imc nation. My aboriginal ancestry also comes from the island through my grandmother who is nuu chal nulth. My main focus on art is the north west art work, but I also do landscapes, animals, and portraits. I'm still learning much of artwork both in the visual and literal , and it will always be a continuing learning cause artwork changes and evolves as much as the world does. In my next four years of schooling with ECU I hope that I will learn a lot of art work and that it improves both my work and myself as a person who is proud of the lineage of people in which I come from.
