A Typography Cookbook. The first project for Peter Cocking's Complex Typography course, the content of this cookbook was meant to be interpreted in different ways according to our style and what the content dictated. Inspired by the rich colors in food and personal style the aim was to elevate the appearance of a cookbook making it modern, stylish and appealing.

A Hunger Artist is based on a project that required to re-interpret Franz Kafka's "A Hunger Artist" short story into an e-book. As the story was first published in 1922 and because of the obscure nature of the narrative, I took inspiration from Edward Gorey's gothic style and tried to incorporate it in a modern setting. This way, the style can communicate the dark emotions of the narrative while remaining intriguing and fun to read.

The second project for Peter Cocking's Typographic Systems course was a typography poster that displayed the lyrics of a song of our choice. Choosing the lyrics to one of my favorite artists, Childish Gambino, I designed this poster which represents two different sides of a conversation. Playing with scale and placement, the chorus connects both parts of the song and transforms it into one while at the same time making each part distinctive from one another.
