    The Cuneiform Light and Book Display were designed to celebrate and give value to the book as object of interaction and display within a bookshop setting. Using a non traditional method and material for display, Cuneiform is made of ceramic and its is made to show the inside of a book rather than the outside.     This project was an exploration which looked at turing a temporary form, the tin can, into a cherished object. This allowed it to take on a whole new meaning and move away from the notion of being a single use object before becoming a waste material. I explored this idea through stripping away the paper on the outside of the tin can to reveal a beautiful form which is often overlooked.     The Nomadic Bookshelves were designed in collaboration with London-based bookshop Luminous Books as a reference to their ever moving and changing collection and location. The bookshop exhibition used the space at the Unit/Pitt Gallery as a pop-up version of Luminous Books' permanent space in London, England. The shelves were designed for assembly without any use of hardware or glue.
