As part of the Emily Carr medical core curriculum, Nicolene McKenzie and Brian Tait created a carrying system for transporting adults with paralysis short distances. The goal is to successfully bring people to places where wheelchairs cannot go, for example down a rocky path to the beach or along a forest trail. This product could be applied to other situations such as emergency response situations, for example, if the elevators are not working in a building that needs to be evacuated.

2014The staircase is designed to separate a double height brewery space from the bar space below. This separation allows the brewery to function in the production of beer and spirits during the day, while running tastings, and tours of the brewery facilities on the second floor.
