James Rout is the University Librarian at Emily Carr University. In a former life, James was the Head of Library and Archives Services at The Banff Centre, where he led the planning and transition to a new state-of-the-art library and archives facility in the Kinnear Centre for Creativity and Innovation.
James is also the Canadian Representative on the Executive Board of the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA), and the Chair of ARLIS/NA Canada.
