Recently I participated in First Nations Drawing and Painting studies through Emily Carr University. I work primarily in oil and acrylic and use photography as a drawing aid.
My art is motivated by my conviction that it would be impossible for me to create a work of art that does not reflect the power of the environment in which I live. Consequently, mountains and their inspiring forms are an integral theme in my day-to-day work.
My activities are based both out of my home studio in Jasper, Alberta and at the Jasper Artists Guild’s Brushfire Gallery where I exhibit on a full time basis and curate shows.
