Type Specimen Book

This assignment is about really understanding the history of typography. The contents of the book is twelve pages, including a cover, highlighting a series of three historically-important typefaces, from different historical periods in type design. The book will provide key historical information about these types, and will present each font in a historically appropriate manner, reflecting the way the type would have been used when it was first designed. The typefaces I chose were Monotype Fournier, Clarendon, and FontFont Scala Sans. Each spread in the booklet will reflect the typographic design style of the historical, look and feel of the period that font originates in.
