Applied Arts Magazine Editorial Contest

Applied Arts Magazine, a Canadian Visual Magazine provided design students across Canada an opportunity to increased student involvement in the magazine by hosting a Editorial Design Contest.

My concept revolved around the idea of the celebration with fireworks as with the many beautiful visual art featured in the magazine. Although shortly featured, it creates lasting inspiration for the readers who read it. The pacing of the fireworks in my design were made to be a show from start to finish, from the First Test Spark to the Grand Finale.

My entry was featured in a special section of the May/June 2011 issue of the magazine as one of the top ten design solutions.
