Typographic Flash Cards

This was a typographic research project, we were to research the history of twelve of the most commonly used typefaces and design a postcard for each one. I decided to make them in to flash cards, one side displays the four letters which differentiate the typefaces, the other side gives a brief history of the typeface and shows a brand logo in which the typeface has most currently be used for. This was an eye opening project as I had not realised the power typefaces have had in changing the world from the gothic typefaces of the Dark Ages to the humanist typefaces of the Renaissance.
