ANIM 312: Lighting and Rendering

This course covers lighting and rendering techniques for 3D computer animated film production. It provides students with advanced technical skills to create sophisticated renderings of 3D scenes. Assignments include interior and exterior scenes, exploring both photorealistic and non-photorealistic lighting and rendering styles. Students understand digital lighting and rendering as influenced by painting and photography, and in the context of contemporary 3D computer animation.

Priority is given to ANIM students in Years 3 and 4. Students outside of the registration priority group may register/waitlist for this course as of the registration rule release date.
