ANIM 315: Character Animation I

Students will be given a series of exercises designed to broaden their understanding of character animation, acting, staging, and timing, utilizing traditional principles and techniques. Weekly lectures and workshops will include standardized production methods such as the application of key poses, in-between positions, timing charts, model sheets, layouts, etc. If repeated, students will continue to explore and study animation principles in further depth, working both independently and in regular contact with their peers and instructor.

Priority is given to 2D ANIM students in Year 3. Students outside of the registration priority group may register/waitlist for this course as of the registration rule release date.
