ANIM 321: Creative Devlp`t Anim Film`g

The focus of this course is experimentation - the exploration of media, methods and allowing an idea to develop through many stages of pre-production. Students pitch and critique storyboards and animatics, visualize concepts, and examine different animation techniques. As a result of self-directed investigations, students will workshop and submit a proposal for a graduation project, including a statement of intent, budget, production schedule, and animation prototypes with sound. The course consists of lectures, screenings, workshops, and student presentations.

Priority is given to ANIM students in Year 3. Students outside of the registration priority group may register/waitlist for this course as of the registration rule release date.
