ANIM 324: Special Effects I: Compositing

Digital image compositing is an essential component of feature film special effects, as well as graphic design and other print or time-based media. This course details fundamental compositing techniques applicable for a range of digital media: color keying, blue screen, camera tracking and color correction. Students gain skills towards working as a digital compositor in the computer animation and special effects industry.

Any of ANIM 209, COMD 215, DIVA 200, FVIM 212, INDD 215, PHOT 312
