CECD 330: Publication Design

Through this course you will design a publication while learning basic principles of design including layout strategies for multi-page documents and considerations for commercial and small-run printing. You must have prior knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, and you are encouraged to bring in a project and all related materials for the first day of class. On completion of the course, you will have a draft multi-page publication, as well as a deeper understanding of publication design concerns.

Prerequisites: 

A working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign; expertise with Adobe Illustrator is recommended.
