Expanding on techniques introduced in The Built Surface: Paint and Collage, you will undertake more challenging projects including experimenting with the juxtaposition of objects and materials for meaningful configurations. Painting techniques explored will include image alteration and the use of various gels and cold wax. Personal imagery, themes and symbols will continue to be developed through discussion and critiques, with an emphasis on design and creating one-of-a-kind surface styles.
