CETP 130: From Drawing to Digital

This course introduces you to visual experimentation in the creative process through traditional drawing and digital software applications while exploring the effects of digital media in contemporary art practice. Through hands on projects and exercises in drawing, photocopy collage, digital collage, computer rendering, and mixed media, you will create and manipulate images in both digital and traditional media, and across both media. Demonstrations, discussions, and presentations will supplement studio and lab work to expand your creative process and broaden your perception of the applications of both drawing and digital media in art and design.
