COMD 315 S001: Print Prod'n + Pre-Press Tech

This course explores the design opportunities provided by contemporary pre-press techniques, print methods, distribution, and formats. Students gain an understanding of how production techniques and print technology inform and contribute to their design. Topics include: colour systems for print, image capture, print resolution, proofing methods, defining project requirements, and offset and digital printing techniques.
