DIVA 300: Digital + Interactive Art ADV

This course will elaborate on interactive and social media practices introduced at a 200 level. The course is structured to have a seminar component and a working studio component. The seminar component will cover discourse surrounding these practices including ideas on participatory and interactive media arts. Students will be assigned a number of projects and research assignments with the intention of developing individual student’s realization of their own creative tendencies. Students will be given access to tutorials and workshops that directly relate to the technical learning associated with the projects, and students are also expected to undertake self-learning in technical areas. This is the core third year studio course required by students fulfilling a Interactive + Social Media Arts major.
