FNDT 164: Core Visual Arts Studio

This course introduces students to the basic vocabularies, materials and methodologies of contemporary visual art. Through presentations, group discussions, and critiques, students will explore the key ideas, elements, and materials that form the basis of an art practice. Students will consider, analyze, and reflect upon the use of these art ideas and principles, which are contextualized in social, historical and contemporary frameworks.
