ISMA 200: Interactive + Social Media Art

This studio course introduces students to interactive and social media arts fundamentals. With conceptual, aesthetic and technical instruction, students will complete a series of projects and assignments involving various media art forms, such as interactive imagery, locative sound, interactive mapping, online narrative and video, and social media. Students will develop a critical vocabulary and analytical skills through readings, presentations, group and individual critiques. This is the core second year studio course required by students fulfilling a Interactive + Social Media Arts major.

Priority is given to IMED and ISMA students in Year 2. Students outside of the registration priority group may register/waitlist for this course as of the registration rule release date.
