PRNT 202: Print Media: Etching

Students are introduced to different processes of making images on copper plates. Through workshop demonstrations, lectures, studio projects, tutorial discussions, and class critiques, students will learn the fundamental techniques of producing monochromatic and multi-colour prints. Emphasis is placed on both critical examination of the students' work and the students' exploration of contemporary ideas in the intaglio form.
