Animation Major
Animation at Emily Carr University of Art + Design is an open and flexible program that embraces diverse animation media. Students develop as creative animation designers and critical thinkers.
Courses within the animation program encompass 2D, 3D and interactive animation integrating a range of direct and digital approaches. Forms of narrative are explored through media studies, writing and drawing practices. The objective is to help students develop their abilities for a broad range of professional opportunities.
