Payments via Direct Deposit (e-cheques)
Emily Carr Financial Services is pleased to announce that we are now able to process refunds, payments and reimbursements via direct deposit, also known as e-cheques. This new, green approach allows us to deposit funds directly into any Canadian bank account – saving paper, distribution time and a trip to the bank.
Please help us meet our goal of processing all non-commercial payments paper free!
The added bonus is that you will not have to come to Financial Services to pick up your cheque or wait for it to arrive by mail. (Please note that funds are generally deposited within 1 business day from the cheque processing date, but can take up to 3 business days.)
For staff, students, and faculty, registering for e-cheques is simple and needs to be completed only once through your insideEC account. (Detailed instructions here) Please note that insideEC is a secure site and that the information stored there is protected under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).
For individual vendors, complete the Direct Deposit Enrolment Form and return to Financial Services.
