Financial Services

Financial Services is responsible for managing the financial and accounting affairs of ECU.

We are located at the East end of the second floor, room D2409 adjacent to the East Sculpture Gallery. Cashier services is located in the Student Commons office at the West end of the second floor, room B2110 near the main entrance.

Financial Services provides support to the educational and support services community at Emily Carr University through various administrative and financial support functions, including financial analysis, reporting, budgeting and payroll.

Financial Services is also responsible for collecting and recording revenues, paying employees and vendors, reporting on financial matters to the University Board, external agencies and governments, and the control and safeguarding of the University’s finances. Planning and budgeting of University activities and developing financial policies and procedures are also the department's area of responsibility.
