Regional Programming Coordinator (2 positions)

Two Rivers Gallery is seeking a university or college student to design and facilitate educational art programs for children. Reporting to the Public Programs Manager, this student will travel to rural schools in the Fraser-Fort George Regional District, offering educational activities in rural schools through the Imagination on the Move program. The Regional Programming Coordinator will develop and facilitate exciting art programming through the Summer Art Club and new Creativity Camps  at Two Rivers Gallery.

This position is full time, 37.5-hour week, for 16 weeks from May 9 to August 31, 2011.

Qualifications: 

This position is suitable for an undergraduate/graduate student studying fine arts, education or other related fields. A love of art and experience working with school-aged children is essential. A driver’s license is required.

Candidates must be 30 years of age or younger, be a Canadian citizen, be registered as a full time student this academic year and be intending to return to school on a full time basis next year. Two Rivers Gallery is interested in hiring young Canadians from other parts of the country and/or with other languages in addition to English.
