Student Exchange Program
Enriching & Diversifying Your Education
Participation in the exchange program is an opportunity to enrich and diversify your education. The experience of travel, exposure to different cultural and educational settings, and to other teachers and students of Art and Design can contribute greatly to one’s growth as an artist.
The Emily Carr University of Art + Design participates in the Student Mobility Program and has exchange agreements with several art and design schools in North America, Europe, and Australia. A list of participating institutions is available on the ECU Students on Exchange page.
Each year, Emily Carr students attend these schools for a semester of study and art practice. As well, Emily Carr hosts visiting exchange students from our partner institutions. To read about past exchange student's experiences, visit the Emily Carr Exchange Blog.
