Undergraduate Entrance Scholarships

Recognizing Academic Achievement and Artistic Potential

Emily Carr University of Art + Design wishes to attract the best-qualified applicants and to recognize, with entrance scholarships, those presenting high academic achievement and artistic potential. A limited number of entrance scholarships are offered to students who are beginning their studies at the University.

These scholarships are targeted at the best prospects in the following two applicant categories:

• BC secondary school entrance scholarships, each in the amount of full tuition for study in the Foundation year;
• International entrance scholarships, ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 Canadian dollars for study at any level.

Applications for entrance scholarships are not required; the University will select students based on their academic and artistic merit.

Audain Foundation Annual Entrance Scholarships

The Audain Foundation Annual Entrance Scholarships, valued at $3,500 and $1,500, are tuition scholarships awarded to BC students from outside Metro Vancouver. This award is open to students beginning studies in first, second or third year.
