Bree Galbraith has mastered the fine art of juggling – life, not objects.
As a student, writer, and mother of two young children, she is an inspiring example of a dedicated scholar. To create more opportunities for her children, Bree chose an education at Emily Carr due to its reputation as a leading institution of art, media and design. Entering her third year in Communication Design, Bree is especially thankful for the generous support of Emily Carr’s donors. As a scholarship recipient, she is able to pursue her studies while maintaining support for her young family.
“I enjoy the opportunity Emily Carr has given me to learn from masters in the field of design, who are always open to share their knowledge, and who not only genuinely care the future of design, but also about my future as well. I feel a tremendous amount of support from the faculty and staff, and have made lasting relationships that will no doubt lead to amazing partnerships.”
She feels confident that, upon graduation, she will have developed the skills needed to enter the professional sphere, as well as the education needed to pursue a Masters degree.
