How to Donate

Thank you for considering Emily Carr University of Art + Design in your philanthropic plans. Your gift can be made to Emily Carr in a number of different ways:

  • Annual Gifts
    Annual gifts support Emily Carr year after year. Donors often maintain or increase their gifts each year. Gifts given on an annual basis may be designated for a variety of areas. (Ways to Support Emily Carr ). Or, you can allow ECU to determine where your donation can have the greatest impact for that year. Donate to the 2009/2010 Emily Carr Annual Campaign.
  • Monthly Giving Program
    Making a donation has never been easier when you enroll in the Monthly Giving Program. Just complete the donation form indicating your monthly gift and each month we will charge that amount on your credit card. 
  • Endowments
    Large donations are often designated to an interest-earning endowment fund. The principal of an endowed gift will earn interest that is awarded annually as a named scholarships, bursaries and awards (Ways to Support Emily Carr).
  • Gifts in Kind
    Gifts of equipment, property and art are important means of supporting Emily Carr. Donors wishing to make an in-kind gift are asked to contact the University Advancement office to determine if the gift can be utilized by Emily Carr students or as a part of the teaching curriculum.
  • Legacy Gifts
    A legacy gift or planned gift is a charitable donation given during a donor's lifetime or made available to Emily Carr sometime in the future, often through a will or bequest.
  • In Loving Memory of Dornacilla Drysdale Peck
    In memory of Dornacilla Drysdale and her lifelong passion for art, the family has requested that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the Emily Carr University of Art + Design Scholarship Endowment Fund. Download and complete the donation form and return it to Emily Carr with your donation, or contact Ghislaine Crawford at 604.844.3087 or Eva Bouchard at 604.630.4553 if you require assistance.
