This is a project-based course that focuses on the integration of historic print media processes with contemporary digital output methods. Ways of combining a digital matrix -- a computer source file -- with a physical matrix -- a plate, a stone, a screen, or a block -- will be explored.  Demonstrations, assignments and self-directed projects will allow students to develop skills and develop personal approaches.
