This is a casual meeting of zine makers and collagers, completely open to all. STUDENTS FROM OUTSIDE OF EMILY CARR WELCOMED!

Library Donations

Posted: Wed, 2016-08-03 11:29

As the library prepares to move into its new space in 2017 on Great Northern Way, space constraints and staffing committments have forced us to place a moratorium on accepting any donations. We are always grateful for the great items we receive from the community and we look forward to being able to accept donations again in the future.

If you have any further questions please contact the library.

This performance series was inspired by Gaston Bachelard's contemplative writing in his book 'The Poetics of Space', and Michel Foucault's 'The Order of Things', wherein he defines and explores the idea of Heterotopic spaces.

“every inch of secluded space in which we would like to hide, or withdraw into ourselves, is a symbol of solitude for imagination”  G. Bachelard, 'The Poetics of Space'
