The Thumb Twiddle Movement
description
Thumb twiddling is frequently used as an example of a useless, time-wasting activity, much like procrastination, but I think it’s more of a way to slow down, relax, and appreciate time.
Use #thumbtwiddle to join the movement and become a Thumb Twiddler!
The Thumb Twiddle Movement explores the idea of positive procrastination through slowness and positive well-being. The goal of the movement is to de-stigmatize procrastination and the negative feelings
associated with it and encourage the use of procrastination as a tool for slowing down, self-reflection, and stress relief.

The Most Astounding Fact • Contemporary Wood Type Poster
description
Paying homage to the golden age of wood type, we had the opportunity of designing contemporary 17 in x 50 in wood type posters, in an Advanced Typography class with Peter Cocking. This poster features the awe-inspiring response given by astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson, on The Most Astounding Fact.
The colour palette is inspired by interstellar tonalities, paired with a tilted gradient to allow for an atmospheric feel. As well, a stereo anaglyphic twist on certain letterforms for an added touch of visual contrast in type perception.
Typographic Music Poster • Imagine Dragons
audio
description
In the world of music, not only can the spoken word be emotive & evocative—it can also be expressed and brought alive through typography. This typographic poster was inspired by musical sensation, Imagine Dragons' On Top of the World, and brings to light the colourful and uplifting landscape of the song piece. Situated atop an oceanic gradient, it has been designed to allow the eye to follow the lyrics through a deep sea journey.

Skins
description
Skins was created in a third year print production class. The aim of the project was create a self directed publication and bring it to print. I focused on content of the publication on virtual themes, specifically surrounding second life. I worked to create a strong virtual aethestic to highlight the uncanny relationship of a printed publication dealing with exclusive online content. The publication was designed in two formats, newspaper and poster.
eddit Exploded
description
'eddit Exploded' is an analog representation of my grad project 'eddit'. This display is inspired by Gabriele Meldaikyte's “Multi-touch Gestures,” in an effort to helps articulate the framework to viewers. 3D materials and craft are used to communicate the nested layers of the 2D 'eddit' system. This method gives the viewer something tacit to consider while learning about the complex website framework (which layers 3D processes into the 2D world). Still in progress, 'eddit Exploded' is being expanded to communicate the multiple features of the system for display at the grad show in May.
